Part-time journalist leaves

The Other View

It was with great disappointment that the editorial board learned that Cameron Mitchell was leaving his position as The Other View’s part-time journalist, in February 2004.

Cameron has contributed numerous topical articles and interviews to the magazine, including an interview with Belfast’s then Lord Mayor Alex Maskey.

In June 2003 Cameron travelled to Dublin to attend the prestigious Co-operation Ireland awards ceremony and received an award, along with with joint editor Tommy McKearney, on behalf of The Other View, for the projects contribution to peace building.

Cameron unfortunately has needed to relinquish his position with The Other View due to increasing work commitments. All at The Other View project would like to wish him every
success with his future career.

The editorial board would also like to take this opportunity to welcome his replacement as The Other View’s part-time journalist, Isabel Jenkins.

Isabel is no stranger to the project, having occasionally contributed articles and has also worked, on a casual worker basis , assisting the Mediation Resource Centre with administration relating to The Other View.
